Refunds and cancelling

The short version

• Changed your mind? Ask within 14 days of paying and you get all your money back, whether you’ve used Pro or not.
• Cancel Pro yearly any time in Settings. You keep Pro until the end of the year you paid for.
• Your notes are never affected. Without Pro you keep every note and everything the free plan does.
• Pro isn’t on sale yet. This page applies once it is.

Cancelling Pro

Pro yearly renews once a year until you cancel. Cancel in Settings whenever you like: you keep Pro until the end of the year you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again. We email you before every renewal so it’s never a surprise.

Pro for life is a single payment, so there’s nothing to cancel.

When Pro ends, your account carries on as a free account. Every note stays, along with everything the free plan includes. Pro features stop working; things they already did, such as labels they put on your notes, stay.

Getting your money back

• Within 14 days of paying, for Pro yearly or Pro for life: a full refund, no questions, even if you’ve used Pro.
• Within 14 days of a yearly renewal: a full refund of that renewal, if you forgot to cancel.
• After 14 days, payments aren’t refunded, except where the law says otherwise or where our terms promise it (for example, if we close Pro, we refund the unused part of a year).
• Something went wrong, like being charged twice or Pro not working? Tell us and we’ll put it right, whenever it happened.

How to ask

Email [email protected] from the address on your account, and say which payment you’d like refunded. We refund to the card you paid with, usually within a few days of your email. It can then take your bank 5 to 10 working days to show it.

Please contact us before disputing a payment with your bank. We can almost always sort it out faster.

Your legal right to cancel

If you live in the EU or the UK, the law gives you 14 days to cancel a purchase made online. For a digital service that starts straight away, that right can end once you start using it. Our 14-day refund above applies whether you’ve used Pro or not, so you always have at least what the law gives you. Nothing on this page affects your other legal rights as a consumer, such as if the service isn’t as described.
